In Memoriam

 

It is with great sadness that the Pediatric Care Center announces the passing of its founder and Director Emeritus, Paul Peebles, M.D. Dr. Peebles created this practice with the vision of providing a place where families could receive the highest level of medical care in a warm, friendly and caring environment. His dream was realized with The Pediatric Care Center and later with the addition of The Teen and Young Adult Care Center. Dr. Peebles was an extraordinary pediatrician. He began his career in academics and research as a pediatric hematologist/oncologist. His love for caring for patients and deep interest in behavioral medicine guided him into private practice where he provided compassionate care to so many children, teens, young adults and their parents for over forty years until he retired in 2017. He was loved by his patients and their families. Perhaps what will be missed the most is his enthusiasm, energy, and his love for life and laughter. His legacy will live on in our practice as we continue to provide the highest quality of care to our patients for many years to come.
