WE WANT YOU TO KNOW
HOW THE PCC IS KEEPING OUR PATIENTS AND FAMILIES SAFE
The safety of our patients, families and staff is our top priority. While we have always been conscious of maintaining a hygienic office environment, in the face of the coronavirus pandemic we have made several changes to our cleaning protocols and office workflow.
-
All visitors and staff members are screened upon entry.
-
All visitors (with the exception of babies and toddlers) and staff are wearing a face covering at all times inside the office.
-
Waiting room use is limited to avoid crowding. If your room is not yet available when you arrive, we may ask you to wait in your car until we wave you in.
-
All rooms are disinfected after each patient, and surfaces in the rest of the office are cleaned frequently throughout the work day.
-
We are seeing ONLY well patients on our second and third floors. These patients arrive through the main entrance.
-
Sick patients use a separate entrance and are seen on the first floor during designated time slots, or in some cases are seen outdoors.
-
Masks and gloves are worn by our doctors and staff for all patient encounters; additional personal protective gear is used when appropriate.
-
We offer telemedicine visits for many types of appointments. The majority of insurance plans are now covering telemedicine visits.
Feel free to call us if you have questions about your upcoming visit. All of us at the Pediatric Care Center want you to know that we are right here for you to help in every way we can during this challenging time.
